The Amazing Garrett Riley, who many here wanted, had a whopping 188 yards of offense against Georgia. LOL
1) We actually *CAN* drop $5 mil for an OC.Again, the idiot that thinks we can drop $5 million on an OC. LOL
And I'm not going ANYWHERE. Deal with it.
That sounds like 187 more yards than Satterfield could muster........... <grin>The Amazing Garrett Riley, who many here wanted, had a whopping 188 yards of offense against Georgia. LOL

2) You're going to the ignore list
3) Oh look, you're *WRONG* again.....Bye bye Mrs. Satterfield. Your husband sucks.

then you must be the wannabe Mistress for your hero Mr SattNo, we can't.
And I bet the real Mrs. Satterfield knows more about football than clowns like you. In fact, I'm sure of it. Somebody had to explain NIL to you a few weeks ago. LOL
Dear CFP committee…..please stop the experiments. We know you desperately want to have a cinderella story, but this aint college basketball. You have four slots, Cinci and TCU don’t belong there. No team from those conferences are top 4. If Furman goes 12-0 are we putting them in? The 12 team playoff will be a joke. That game was downright hilarious. I guess I shouldn't laugh too much, since we also got spanked by UGA, but it was just funny to see everyone getting sucked into the TCU hype. The empirical data told us very clearly that TCU didn't stand a chance in this one, but folks were somehow fooled into ignoring their senses. I started to doubt myself for thinking this would obviously be a blowout. Even some of the experts in the pre-game picked TCU. The game was basically over less than midway through the first quarter. It was clear from the opening kick that there was a massive talent/speed/skill gap between the two programs.
TCU obviously didn't belong in the championship game. They had to have some significant help from the refs to beat Michigan.

Big 12 and Pac 10 are not good. They are only competitive against themselves. We will be drilled wth So cal publicity next year….even though they were whipped by Tulane. They want a western tv market so bad.

How many of those teams had elite speed & athleticism on their defenses?Since then it's been Alabama x3, Clemson x2, LSU and UGA x2.
Like you said in another post…they do a pretty decent job many years. But I watched TCU all year and felt they didn’t remotely belong there. Nice story, playing in fun games against the rest of their weak conference….but you could see the deficiencies. K State would have received the same beatdown by UGA and Ohio State. Oh well….I think we will see even more games this mismatched with 12 teams.Ohio State won the first CFP. Since then it's been Alabama x3, Clemson x2, LSU and UGA x2.
If you look at the semifinal brackets, the losers are mostly comprised of Big 10 teams or teams out west. The winners are, almost exclusively from the southeast.
But they will keep trying to tweak the system to force a non-southeastern team into the championship.

With one elite team at the top, it skews they whole concept of a playoff. But I watched TCU all year and felt they didn’t remotely belong there.
ESPN is a "woke" company - always has been. They don't have the stones to get rid of Corso. Plus, they don't even know what stones means. True story.Somewhat unrelated, but I saw some of the pregame. Don't think I have watched any Gameday this year. Corso looked rough. Sad to see. I always enjoyed Gameday back in the day. It was pretty entertaining.
I think TCU probably came into the game a little star-struck while Georgia absolutely came ready to take care of business. When you combine those factors with a preexisting significant disparity between the two teams, I think this is what happens. TCU was not a world-beater. They were a Cinderella that finally came down to earth.Do you think there's something going on with TCU? Is there really this much disparity?
