Kind of a weird situation. He was about to get fired last year and then they got hot and won the ACC tourney and kept winning in the NCAAT. But other then that 2-3 week run he did precisely nothing else there.
They’re not Duke or UNC but they do have a couple of national titles and that’s a basketball hungry state.

Morons. The correct thing to do is to keep said coach for years after he does something good like that happens no matter how bad things get.
No way, I thought it was crazy they didn’t fire him last year for not winning the national championship. Instead, they hung a banner up to remind them of the time they weren’t good enough.
Exactly, these decision makers over at NC State clearly wouldn’t last a week here where a good run earns you a lifetime contract. After all, that $1M buyout money will always be much better spent on a transfer QB that can lead us to 3 wins in the Fall
