Exactly. Rankings don’t matter right now. One loss & we’ll tumble far down. Have to win SEC regular title & tournament to remain a top 4 seed. ACC teams have a lot more leeway with losses. And rightfully so. It’s a much stronger conference.Just win.
I'm pretty sure their coach tells them every day. They know. They're having a fantastic season, but if they get caught up looking at the rankings, they'll stumble.Tell those ladies that.
Yep, the UNC loss to Stanford is proof of that.ACC teams have a lot more leeway with losses. And rightfully so. It’s a much stronger conference.
Last 10 years current ACC teams have been to 21 final fours (out of 40 total participants), and won 6 titles. SEC, 3 appearances, all semi final losses. SEC is a strong conference. ACC is on a whole different level. We likely have to win both SEC regular season & tournament to get a top 4 seed. One or the other probably gets a top 8 seed.Yep, the UNC loss to Stanford is proof of that.
I'm not a pessimist like you, so I'll say, if they win out they could be a top 4 seed.I'm pretty sure their coach tells them every day. They know. They're having a fantastic season, but if they get caught up looking at the rankings, they'll stumble.
If they win out, they’ll definitely be a top 4 seed. Could probably stand a draw & still get it. But they’re not going to give 2 top-4 seeds to SEC teams & Arkansas is #5. Top 8 seed is almost certain & that would be incredible on its own. Would put us at home for rounds 2 & 3 of the NCAA tournament.I'm not a pessimist like you, so I'll say, if they win out they could be a top 4 seed.
