Does anyone know approximately how many tickets each school will be allotted for the 1st/2nd round games? I thought it was only something like 400-500 tickets, depending on the size of the venue.

As I said a few weeks ago, in the event the Gamecocks get sent to Salt Lake City or Spokane, I plan to be there with my son. I'll buy them through Stubhub or one of the re-sellers, but I would love to buy them through the Gamecock ticket office if they still have any left after Gamecock Club members get their crack. Do you think there is any chance there will be any left if they get sent to one of those two western venues? For those of you in the know, any advice on who to contact in the ticket office to make sure I'm on the "overflow" list? With perhaps only 4 days separating Selection Sunday from tip-off of round one, it doesn't leave much time to get ducks in a row. But maybe that short turnaround works to my advantage since it doesn't leave folks in SC much time to arrange a last-minute trip to the far west.

For all of your sake, I hope they get sent to Charlotte so we'll have a big Gamecock contingent in the house, but if they get sent out here, I can't pass up that opportunity.

I don't believe most of these early round games sell out. I don't think you'll have trouble getting tickets.

Was hopeful there’d be something in the DC area and they’d come this way.

I don't think tickets will be hard to come by, in general, unless we get some bad luck and have Gonzaga in Spokane, and Arizona and Kentucky in Salt Lake or something like that.

But I'd love to buy them through the school, if possible, to sit among Gamecock fans. Plus, I think the school's allotment are likely better than the nose-bleed seats I would buy otherwise. lol
