Does NCAA baseball still try to lump teams in regionals that geographically are close? I ask because why the hell are we always paired with Arkansas or Okie St
Most cases if there close numberwise. Plus obviously Arkansas would be a good story line
Arkansas would be a good story with DVH and Bolt and Childress.
I would prefer no Arkansas!! .. But if it happens it happens.
Could result on more games being played on Saturday.

Congrats on a great baseball season Huskers. Happy to see your baseball program coming back into prominence. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The thing I miss most about the old Big12 is our baseball rivalry. I still miss it. Good luck and I hope to see you guys in Omaha.
I hope they go to a 16-team tournament with only the last place team not making the tournament. How humiliating would it be to be the only team not to make a 16-team tournament from a conference with 17 teams?

It’s fine the way it is if they wanted more than 8 teams.This set up allows the top 4 not to have to use as many arms, allowing them to look more towards the NCAA tourney.
One of the usual suspects responded with their typical D-bag comments. It was Wednesday night so I assumed they were drinking because of the regret and many bad choices they made in their life.

Wisconsin is the ‘18th’ team every year. This year 17th was Northwestern. Imagine being their coach and trying to justify your team’s performance to your AD after the season was over.
AD: There were 17 teams. You just needed to finish in the top 16 to make the tournament. How do you not accomplish that? What exactly do you do around here anyway?
Losing today might hurt Iowa’s chances at hosting a regional or super-regional.
They probably used a few in the 7-1 loss last night and they will be on their 4th starting pitcher tomorrow where we have thrown zero pitches in the tournament.
It appears Nebraska game against Michigan now will start tomorrow morning.
