Need to come up with an option that blocks Glfr from posting on a topic

If it was his own post and his thoughts, it would be ok but going to his favorite blog, then copy what they sat and then paste here is not cool. No one is reading it. Taking up space.
What are you talking about here?
You think I copy and paste comments from blogs? That is a new one. And no, I do not do that.

SPS can become what Twitter once was - limit posts to 140 characters.

Who?

The ignore feature works great
I completely agree; mine is pretty robust. I almost always click "read ignored list" or whatever; I mainly use it as a way to remind myself who isn't fun to engage with.

I do wish there were a way to ignore posts but not topics; sometimes that leads to missing some good replies.

As far as glfr, some of us are more loquacious than others. If I really were to hazard a guess, more often than not he's right and that can lead to other folks getting in their feels some kinda way. I get it.

I put him on ignore probably 3 years ago. Life is too short. I come here for some laughs and to learn what’s going on in Bulldog sports and other interesting topics. I do not come here to be annoyed by some liberal wing nut that only wants to cause trouble and ruin interesting conversations. I wish he would go be a Rebel.

He's the only poster that I've ever blocked in my years of posting here, I only see a message that says something like "You are ignoring content by this member". No " golfer" comments for the last couple years for me and it's been glorious.

You’re on quite a few ignore lists as well.

Glfr is ignored by 32 posters. Far and away the clubhouse leader.

Also of note: I don’t know if he still reads the board but Dawg61 has literally the entire board on ignore.

I agree with him on some things and disagree with him on others. It doesn’t hurt me to read something I disagree with. If I have time, I may present a counter argument, but I usually don’t.
I think life is more interesting when there is more than one perspective.
I think I disagree with him on 99% but it's never occurred to me to dislike him much less ignore him. I assume like most people on this board, I'd be perfectly happy to play a round of golf or have a drink with him if he'd promise to not wear his roller blades while doing so.

ETA: I get hitting the ignore if you don't want to see anything political. That's completely understandable and I would assume I'm on some ignore lists for the same reason.

I'm all for the word limit!

500.

However, its good having all you free thinkers and idiot thinkers on this board. I wouldn't waste time here if it weren't for the diversity (albeit, still somewhat limited) of thought.

What's a message board for if it doesn't piss you off a little?
