Need to come up with an option that blocks Glfr from posting on a topic

You may be a snowflake if you need a button to protect you from seeing what someone else posts. You are definitely a cancel queen if you are triggered by someone’s post to a point where you want them to be unable to post anymore.

Or maybe you come to a sports message board to see sports topics only and not topics taken over by politics?

I don't like the idea of limiting the speech of anyone regardless if I agree with it or not unless it's racist, threatening, etc. That's a slippery slope to go down. Now, if you are someone like the moron who posted earlier this week in one of the Jackson threads, and I'm paraphrasing, "all the blacks....., well your a$$ needs to go.

I don't use the ignore button but that is a reasonable alternative for those that don't care to hear from certain posters.

Let glfr unapologetically run wild. Blocking his input is censorship, period.

Besides, its much easier to spot crazy when they get vocal.

The demographics of both parties have been changing over the past 25 years. Educated people were more likely to lean Republican up through the mid 90's. It's the other way around now, and starting show in elections, policy, and moronic opinions of people on this board. We like to joke about Alabama having lots of "Sidewalk Alums", but I think we have more than we care to admit.

Educated people and intelligent people aren't synonymous.

a good sign of intelligence is whether you're not dumb enough to vote democrat **

Some of you are upset. So how about a new rule that we all already know all the arguments against every single politician on the planet. No matter how long a list you make regurgitating all the biased information you got from your(correct word) favorite news organization you aren't changing anyone's mind. So just post whatever number the new rule is like we do with 17.

This way we avoid the need to post the rebuttal regurgitation.

I tend to agree with you, except for Fighting Irish. That ignore was definitely worth it.
I think that’s the only person I have on ignore. Couldn’t think of the name.

I don’t guess I agree with glfr a whole lot, but he’s dead right on the due process point.

Too many people have short memories and/or are shortsighted. I mean a year ago the left was all gung-ho to eliminate the filibuster. Orange ya glad you didn’t? They were PISSED when Chevron was overturned. Thank God for that now, right?

I’ll still stand on overturning Chevron deference was a monumentally bad decision.

Ehh. Some good. Some bad. I wouldn’t call it monumental either way.

It CAN limit some of the power the executive branch has but it also requires Congress to write bills/laws very carefully and be very precise on the wording. Good luck with that.

He has stayed away from all the stock threads the past several days. Is he alive? Is he Banned? Whats up?
