We are in Pittsburgh for a youth hockey tournament from Denver. We just realized when we cleaned out my son’s hockey bag we left his helmet. Playing at Biearl (sp?) tomorrow at 10:30. Any recommendations on hockey stores open early? Pure Hockey doesn’t open until 11am. Does Dicks have hockey gear here? Thanks!!

Call Dunhams. They usually have some youth size hockey stuff. Should be open for another hour.
The rink probably has some in the lost and found stash. They’re very adjustable with a screwdriver.
If you’re concerned about tight fit, go buy some foam weatherstripping from Home Depot /Lowes. CVS/Walgreens might also have something that will work.

The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is 3 miles up the road. The Penguins practice in this facility and it has several retail shops that'll sell helmets. BTW, the next practice is Monday at 12 noon. Attendance is free and open to the general public, if your still around.
Dick's doesn't seem to carry much stock in the retail stores but you'll probably find something, but a suggested above the Baierl Ice Rink probably has something to loan, rent, give, or sell you. Call them and ask. Since it's an ice arena they are probably open most of the night.
