Anybody who has ever bitched about recruiting, should keep their mouth shut about alternate uniforms and helmets. For some reason players and recruits eat this **** up - therefore I'm all for it.
If we're sporting new helmets this weekend, shirley we'll have some new uni's too. Any info on that?
Any time new unis are rumored then fans start bitching. Obviously if bitching about it makes you happy, then please proceed (who am I to get in between you and your happiness).
My only point was, fans always get bent out of shape about uniforms, but they aren't changed for the fans, they're changed for the players and recruits.
Also, I agree in principal - maroon face masks look better, traditional uniforms look better and all these variations are crap.

Just so we all know so no one bitches anymore, which recruit did we get because of the ugly *** black shirts and uniforms we have been trying the last 3 years? God forbid anyone speak out against the black uniforms or jerseys but in my opinion they look <17>ing retarded, especially when maron and whit are our colors. They are trying a little too hard to push all this black **** on everything we do, seriously, the damn stadium cups? The people that make the drinks can't even keep up with what they have made, I've seen it happen in the concession stand lines more than once this year.stateskills said:

recruits talking about the jerseys and uniforms the players wore during the LaTech game. They liked them.
I went to a bunch of away games that year. Bunch of losses obviously. It was still fun but hey Freshman year in college.....

that year. I remember thinking at the Cal State game..."I thought we are supposed to be an SEC team, why are we losing to a nobody like Cal State Fullerton.." Little did I know that I would endure some unbelievably piss poor performances at Scott Field by my beloved MSU......granted, Jackie (now hopefully Mullen) gave us some true jewels to treasure but it's hard to erase the crap that started with "Tech and 10."
I remember my Dad going on and on about how great a hire Jackie was. From that first Texas game there was a different feeling. The 90's provided some great moments in all sports. Being single and having the ability to travel during that period was fun as hell.
