Sadly, you don't care enough about paying Lubert's management fees.
I'll be the first to ask... how many cents of every dollar are going to 'administrative' fees? How much is going to not end up with the players?

Also, say we got a player who gets Success With Honor NIL money and goes on to behave, shall we say, without honor,--- do they hand the money back? Will there be a morals and good behavior clause?

Anything with Lubert and his slimy friends pulling the strings is a no for me. Have you all gotten amnesia? After all the damage they've done to Penn State, you want to hand them the keys to the Penn State sports kingdom?

Penn State can't pay NIL money. Penn State SA's are already getting NIL money.
Semantics. Schools are organizing ways to pay players to come to the school, or stay at the school. Same thing. And a far cry from allowing players to make some cash doing endorsements for local businesses, like we were told it was going to be.

There are a hundred ways big money folks will find their way around these guidelines—just like they have for decades.
Yep I said that in a different thread. Why would TaM mess around with NIL? Their system works great. NIL just keeps the honest folks in check.

You said you hoped Penn State never pays NIL money. My answer was accurate. Penn State has not and doesn't plan to pay NIL money and is not organizing as you state. While I agree other schools are doing that, PSU is not. Unfortunately, in places like Tennessee, the ability to work with prospective SA's has been codified in state law.

The ONLY reason these NIL deals are so huge is because of the recruiting and transfer possibilities. Many NFL players don't make as much as these relatively unknown college athletes will, unless they are endorsing national brands and are household name players (examples would be Peyton, Aaron Rodgers, etc.). I'm yet to see a single college athlete commercial, billboard, print or online advertisement, etc. It's all a sham to keep players at certain schools and little else, and really has nothing to do with image and likeness as was intended.

Don't disagree, but you must have missed the twin bball players from Fresno State who have their own underwear line....(they've since portaled).

"April 21: Sharpshooting twin guards Haley and Hanna Cavinder, who have four million TikTok followers and an estimated $1 million in NIL sponsorship deals, announce at 8 p.m. they are transferring from Fresno State to Miami. Fourteen minutes later, Miami lawyer/businessman and UM booster John Ruiz retweets their announcement with this message: “Young ladies, welcome to the U and welcome to @LifeWallet”. Terms were not disclosed for their deal with Ruiz’s health care company."

I‘m sure there was no tampering.

I don't honestly see how we are going to compete within this new world... the numbers SWH is raising might buy .5 of a player. Central PA is rural and you don't have all the advantages of these big school markets in SC. Hope I am wrong but I don't see how you go from where we have always been to what the SEC schools are willing to do without really compromising your ethos

I did a football & wrestling subscription. Wrestling is on par or above football for me. Brings me great joy
