Jason Kelce talked about this on his podcast and brought up an interesting point about it. He says NFL Defenses are overcompensating for how skilled everyone has gotten in passing offenses. They have to run a more pass oriented defense or they're just going to get torched over the top. In turn, this frees up a lot of space and options for the running game as well as the short passing game

It’s just two weeks so hard to say it’s a trend yet but interesting nonetheless.

I'm not a big NFL guy so maybe I'm the only one who didn't know who he is, but a 12 year career as an NFL qb (presumably backup and with no CTE?) followed by broadcasting seems like a good gig.

Sounds like ........ Mike Leach. And of course our fans say, "RuN dA bAwL!!!"

They, nor Zack Arnett, realized that you have to maintain that passing structure, in order to have the structure necessary to say RuN dA bAwL.

Then they also have to over compensate for all the favorable officiating the KC Swifties get week after week. Not easy being an NFL defense these days!

Trivia question: Guess who leads the league dating back to 2018 with 17 interceptions that have been called back thanks to a defensive flag?
