Because the guy to the right of the batter (from the viewpoint of the pitcher) has a maroon shirt that has "Maroon" on the front and the "M" in "maroon" looks like the "M State" logo.
He's right, the Aggies have the same Maroon Out shirt we do...
It always throws me off seeing people walking around wearing it... Took me a while to realize that it wasn't a bunch of Bulldogs walking around Austin.

There were several State fans in the crowd. Wearing our baseball logo.The only logo we should have as a University aside from the Bulldog in my opinion.</p>
