I see commercials for lawyers and plumbers and businesses so I'm not sure about the hyperventilating over high school athletes making more than high school coaches and teachers. Just let coaches and teachers get NIL money too. The free market is merely showing what people value: sports even at the high school level. I guess teach might not like seeing a student drive up in a BMW while she shows up in a 10-year-old civic with student loan debt for classes with students who don't care about learning anything, but we've always had income inequality. This is America. People earn based on their value to others.

"Some high school athletes in Alabama could potentially earn more than their coaches if legislation is passed to allow young players to profit off their name, image, and likeness (NIL), according to Dothan City Schools Superintendent Dennis Coe."
