When it comes to endorsements especially from an influencer perspective followers is something that definitely contributed to dollars on the table and is free to the average person.

Seeing that Milaysia increased her followers by 45k in one day would lead one to believe this can potentially lead to some deals because she is can't miss TV. Any thoughts to just following our athletes to increase their influencing reach?

When it comes to real influencing (marketing), followers are bigger than any name or position played. If a WBB has more followers than a MBB, her rate will be higher for social media posts marketing a product. So followers definitely count - and if a fanbase gets behind following its school's athletes, then those athlete's earning power goes up. And really, that's what companies want if they're using NIL for real purposes - reach to more potential customers.

It's a great idea to get behind them. If they know their earning power will go up at USC as opposed to another school, then that's a real selling point.

The Cavinder Twins have laid down the blueprint for the influencer / NIL dealmaking model.

I think it's pretty hilarious that the Cavinder twins post pics like this:

But then get highly offended when someone writes an article detailing how they used their looks to capitalize financially.

Oh Gawd, I can see this thread is about to go in another direction entirely.

Seems in keeping with the previous discussion on how the Cavinder twins laid the blueprint for the influencer model. It's 100% b/c of their looks. Nobody following them gives a flip that they played basketball.

Agree..they're average at best ball players. But, they look a certain way and are willing to show most of their body for clicks and $$.
