Refs made a couple bad calls...or rather no calls.
Refs didn't keep us from even scoring for 5min of the 2nd half. Refs didn't keep Jeffries from making the front end of a 1n1. Etc etc.
Also, refs don't work for a conference.

Your response is exactly what a feeble minded simpleton would say.

ETA- refs didnt out rebound us. Refs didn't convert airballs to points for UK.
I could go on and on.

The missed travel call at the end really sucked though.
I’ll even buy the bleach for you?? Do you have a preferred brand?

Refs are scared to make a call that would potentially give us the edge in crutch time late in the game. In that regard it is like Kentucky had a home game on the road. Any other team we are playing, we get that travel call. Facts.
Meh. It was a travel. They should have called it.. They didn't. It wasn't because there's some dictate about Kentucky getting all calls in crunch time. We got a couple of officiating breaks during the game too.

We lost the game because we went into a freaking lull and went down by 13.

there's no dictate it is just a bias that exists due to Kentucky being historically a basketball empire lol

we got no breaks under 2 minutes, big difference

27 hours before tipoff and someone is already claiming the refs are instructed to ensure UK wins.
17ing feeble minded.
He was very prophetic. If you believe the referees are unbiased when we play Alabama in football and UK in basketball then you are the most naive fan in the SEC. Do you really believe that the SEC would do anything to impede UK from making the NCAA tournament? You were right that we didn't help the situation but this was a close game and it doesn't take much to change the outcome.

Its a message board- when you have 30 people giving 30 slightly different views, it isnt a surprise when you can tie one to being 'correct'.
Human error seems to equate to 'refs were told to throw the game'.
Poor job quality seems to equate to 'refs were told to throw the game'.

Look up who ref'd the game. None are 'SEC refs'. Its patently absurd that the claimed collusion could continue for so long and involve so many people without whistleblowing. The SEC picking who wins or loses would completely destroy the conference. It would be sued into oblivion by all sorts of groups(gambling being a powerful obvious one) and criminal charges would be filed.

But sure- for decades now, the SEC has successfully bought the compliance and silence of hundreds upon hundreds of refs.

How easy is it to miss or call one offense in a close game? Why did Jackie Sherrill get suspended for suppling evidence of intentionally missed calls? How many bad calls have been made against us in Alabama games? How are you going to prove that a referee did something intentionally?????

Everyone calls football a game of inches but a referee can award 15 yards or take away 10 at any given time and there is no way to prove that it was intentional or missed. Referees have apologized to State after 2 Alabama games for flags that they should not have thrown. Didn't change the score of make any State fans feel better. Its not just us either.

Here's a story about one of the "unbiased" refs from the UK game: Pat Adams
