There's a better than decent chance of seeing the northern lights tonight with the prime time looking to be just after dark until around midnight. Some projections have them potentially viewable at the horizon all the way to the coast. Early reports from Europe is a solar storm pegging the needle on intensity. We have all of our cameras pointing north tonight.

And be sure to understand that what you are looking for in our area will absolutely not look like all the social media photos you see. You’ll need to take long exposure photos to “see” that. They will appear to your eyes as hazy rays of dull white/gray light.
