Just a quick shoutout to all of the Gamecock fans out there as another season of college football comes to a close. Enjoy the coming week (lots of football), safe travels for those on the move (crazy drivers), and Happy Thanksgiving (friends and family coming together hopefully) from my home to yours. Just remember life can come at you fast and when you least expect it. On Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, 2019, my mother died about thirty minutes before we were going to sit down for our family meal. I think my last words to her were something to the effect "Can I go ahead and put this food in the oven to heat?" as she walked out of the kitchen and back to her bedroom. That was it. While Clemson played South Carolina that Saturday, I was planning a funeral. It was a game I did not watch nor whose outcome I cared about. I only share this because we still need to remember that those who suit up and represent this University are still just 18-23-year-old young men. I have to remind myself of that too...so this is written as much for me as the next one that maybe gets too angry with not only our team's play but each other at times. Now I know there are going to be those who will read my message and totally disagree. I get it...it is a football platform and maybe posts such as mine have no business here. Peace be with you still. Until next season then...best wishes.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Holidays can be tough when you miss Loved ones.
I pray for your family like Peter said "That Grace and Peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord".

Sorry to hear about your mother with all the respect that one can offer. Please respect the appropriate forums for family issues. This is a football forum with all due respect.

It's not a Football forum. It's a sports forum but we talk about other things from time to time, that's why he said not football related.
