I read somewhere that the Philadelphia Eagles QB coach would be a prime candidate should we look. I dont know much about him other than I read he is very highly regarded and respected for work he does with QB's. I guess we will see though

He was UF's OC in 2020 which scored 39.8 ppg.

Also had a year at Houston as OC with 28 ppg.

Does have SEC ties with MSU and UF.

To me it all depends on their level of involvement in the success the last two weeks. Stepp will be promoted or will leave at some point. He's that good. He will be a head coach down the road .

May be willing to take the chance on Kitchens as interim for bowl game and see what happens. High profile guy who I doubt we brought in as a long-term analyst. Coached all over the offense in the NFL before becoming head coach. I don't think we'll lose any of the top candidates by then. disagree....somebody with a track record. It's not like we're hard to please as a fanbase....we just want competency and competitiveness within the conference. You have to hire a talent at OC - not a hope. We need to hit the mark with this, and I think our crowd, the game atmosphere and momentum could help big time in getting the right hire.

I was all for keeping Satterfield. However ,apparently he decided to leave on his own. If that is really what happened Shane should take advantage of the situation. I like the idea of making Kitchens the interim OC for the bowl game. It's pretty clear something changed after the Florida game. Some think Kitchens was calling the plays. Whomever we get the number one task is convincing Rattler to stay for one more season.
