Okay a friend and I were talking the other day about this. He seems to think that NO WAY will they fire him DURING the season. I disagree and if I had to circle a game in whichthe pressure would be to much for them (AD, Board etc.) to BEAR, would be Fresno St. I feel like unless they beat UGA today to release some pressure, it's gonna be almost UNFORGIVABLE for him to lose to a WAC team. It worked for Florida (i know they aren't Fla but giving the fan base a fall guy DID release pressure that year). What do you guys think, especially Bear fans.

much less in the middle of the season. Two factors:

1) Money - Ole Miss is trying to raise $150 million and starting that out by throwing $8.5 million in the toilet is not going to help. Most Ole Miss fans realize it's better to build a new basketball facility and expand the football stadium than it is to just get rid of Nutt right away.

2) Boone - All of my Ole Miss friends agree that getting rid of Nutt while Boone is still the AD is a waste of time. I think you will see a BIG push to get rid of Boone as the end of the season approaches. If the Chancellor doesn't get on board and make it happen I think you might see him gone too. Ole Miss fans are pretty pissed right now and someone is going to pay, my money is on Boone.

If that game is competitive and they have a 4 or 5 win season, he may be around.
