Watching him play this season, I kinda feel like the staff held him back. I understand that Fr won’t be full go with everything you’re ask to do on an every down standpoint but when he got Pt and got the ball thrown to him, he looked like a true wideout. He adjusted to balls, like the throw from Sellers or the deep ball against UF. Looking at those two plays, you wouldn’t believe that he was new to the position. I’m excited for his future here.

He missed a few easy passes but also caught some in very tight windows. About what you would expect for a talented but raw true freshman. Had a nice ypc average.

Like any WR, needs to spend time with the jugs machine in the offseason.

His time is this year. He really needs to step up. We need to get him the ball in space, similar to what the 49er's do with Debo. Debo is a unicorn. Nick can be a bigger / faster unicorn.

The eye of the portal is watching him…

Not particularly worried about him at this point. If he didn't chase the bag to Oregon during his recruitment, I don't know why he would now. It was all but confirmed (as much as anything is with NIL) that he turned down a substantial sum at Oregon to commit here.

Now, if he plays his second season and it seems the coaches don't know how to utilize him properly, maybe he'd want to jump.

Nobody's safe, that's for sure.

With a new receivers coach coming in, that can't hurt. I think it was just a normal freshman year, you don't have many that just come in and blow it up as much as we want it to happen, not playing the position before he definitely needed some development time.

Yeah. He played A LOT. As a freshman, when you get an opportunity you have to take it. And he had some bad drops. A couple of big plays too. I think there’s a lot of potential. He just needs to keep working.

I wonder if Harbor will wake up one day a couple years from now as a good but not great WR and realize all the programs that wanted him as a DB were right about his best position? College is not really the best level of football to decide to switch positions.

The Olympics is this summer. I think that might have something to do with his training/availablity.
