May wife and I wondering why we felt chilly with a fire burning in our 20 x 20 FR.
Currently 1 degree in Archbold with -20 wind chill.

Remember that Targeting is an NCAA rule (while there are NFL rules around using your helmet, there is nothing called "targeting", or the same penalties).

agree it was like the refs did not want to be involved in getting Rams at least 3 pts. sometimes refs think no call let them play means they are not influencing the game, but no calls are influencing the game.

I'm sure the referees aren't thinking anything like that...they're getting in position, and calling what they see. It's a fast game, and slow-motion replays from multiple angles give us much better perspective than making a bang-bang call in real time.

I fully expect an easy Eagles win tomorrow followed by a win next week in the Motor City.

Rams vs Lions was a very entertaining football game and watching the Cowboys go down in flames in the Jerry Dome was a thing to be savored. It was a good day to be a fan. Now hopefully the birds can pull a rabbit out of a hat tomorrow night.
