You can’t see the forest through the trees. If Franklin would have benched Clifford for Allar last year and they struggled and lost another game or two, you and the others would have been the first to complain.

Bad OSU team and our QB clearly isn’t ready. Kid needed to play more last year. It is what it is.

if he had some time to throw, I'd agree. A lot (not all) of his incompletions are because he has been forced to release the ball early (like before the receiver makes their break) due to pressure. If that doesn't get addressed and corrected during halftime, relying on Allar's arm seems like a recipe for a couple of INTs.

How does it get corrected? I've never been an OC, so I'm not sure. It would help if PSU could avoid down/distances that make their offensive options pretty predictable.

So let me just ask. What’s your “realistic” expectation for Penn State? Are you satisfied with 10-2 every year? Or do you expect them to compete for conference and national championships?

I would love to win a NC every year, but I know that’s not going to happen. So if we finish 10-2, I’m happy with that. Especially once they expand the playoffs.

Defense is gassed. Our entire offense involves slant passes and runs up the middle. Nothing to the TE this half, no screens, nothing over the middle of the field
