Finally, the wait is over. The 2024 college football season is starting.

I need to start this early.

Please use this thread to discuss the PSU - WVU game. As a reminder, please use the quote function when responding to a post. And if possible, please include the game score and time left in which quarter after a team scores.

We Are ...

- ready to roar
- curious to see the changes installed by the new OC
- aware that WVU can be a crazy environment for PSU to play in
- expect the Blue & White to start the season with a win

Penn State, when favored by at least a TD, has won 24 consecutive games under James Franklin. In that span, PSU is a remarkable 19-4-1 vs. the spread. Nittany Lions are an 8½-point favorite Saturday at West Virginia

The PA roots horse-a$$ is a reach, at best. There’s money involved, and the kids like the shoes. Kobe had no connection to PSU, so I’m not into it. It reminds me of um donning the Air Jordan logo. Marketing and cash money. No substance. No real connection.

Only one thing worse than WVU fans and that is living in the state with a bunch of WVU fans. Their discussion of football uses about as little logic as possible only to be rivaled by sPitt and ND fans, though they have at least a little respectable history to fall back on, unlike WVU.

He’s from PA and sure, it’s a reach - but the players love this stuff. Like LeBron at OSU.

Then there was Joe. After PSU entered into the original contract with Nike around 1993, Joe would continue to wear a windbreaker made by some other clothing manufacturer. Since it wasn‘t a Nike jacket, he had to have a black piece of tape over the logo.

This is a game in which we could be behind at the half and we pull it out in the 4th quarter with better physical conditioning.
