This day is taking forever to get to the event I'm most looking forward to. So, I'm starting the game thread now. Please use this thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussion of the PSU - Boise State Fiesta Bowl 2024 CFB Playoff Quarterfinal game.

One can only hope that the combination of New Year's Eve and the PSU game has enabled @Midnighter to create some amazing drinks for us, and to have some absolutely stunning servers, at Midnighter's Bar during the game.

We Are ...

- quietly confident about this game
- and yet, somewhat weary of this game, as we've seen very little of Boise State's games this season
- most of the matchups seem to favor PSU, but you have to respect Boise St. having a lot of prep time, as well as an excellent RB
- happy to be back in the Fiesta Bowl, though are having a tough time adjusting from Tostito to verbs as the named sponsor of the Fiesta Bowl
- expecting to be celebrating a win tonight, as PSU advanced to the CFB Playoff semis

... Penn State!!!

One of the things I hope happens is that because Allar is coming back next year, he takes some of the pressure off of himself and just plays a solid game. No need to impress scouts or to avoid taking a risk in order to avoid an injury.

Watching baylor-lsu, sam acho just said that boise can win tonight if it becomes a passing game. Huh?

Astute analysis from MushMouth -- 'I think Boise runs Jeanty right at Abdul Carter. Let's see if he's as effective in the run game as he is rushing the passer. Maybe he doesn't want any of that business.'

Also, there is no requirement for an availability report in the CFB Playoffs, so PSU has not released one. We'll just have to wait to see who lines up.
