The issue with the running game is that the backs are not explosive enough to hit the holes coupled with the line not holding their blocks. Saquon didn't need the line to hold their blocks long.
Saquon was wasted in this offense too ... yes he was able to overcome a lot of the self imposed offensive problems, but I remember him getting stuffed behind line wayyy more than should have.

Look forward everyone. We just need the DL and OL step up with an attitude. Hopefully it gets done to coaches. We’re fine but should be blowing these guys out. Shut down QB we win….

You forgot the slow developing plays. Not all on the backs. The scheme doesn’t get them the ball fast enough to react. You must be forgetting how many runs Barkley had for negative yardage.

PSU has regressed. The OL pass protected much better against Wisky and Auburn.

Pass coverage is also poor today. MD QB has plenty of targets to throw to right from the snap and his WR's had better hands earlier in the game PSU would already be behind.

MD has also had a better pass rush than what PSU has put on MD.

And Ellis with a brain dead play running over the WR with the ball in the air, without turning his head. He is not a CB and so far a poor Safety.

Serious question...
How hard is it to turn your head around when the receiver looks like he's going to catch it?

Let's take our timeouts into the half. That's good planning. Wonder why it never occurred to CJF to call timeouts and break the obvious momentum after the second completion in a row.

I'm so done with this guy.

Well plenty of time to win this, but the offense has certainly seems to have regressed, though there's no way Clifford is 100%.
Sure seems like Ciarrocca had the offense established in the latter half of last season.

If he turns around it’s a gift interception!

I swear, we are literally weaker than every team we play. Can't push any player back.

Jack Ham just said that the key now will be “the execution of our offense.” What do you guys think?

Completely uninspired play and very poor tackling- again. This is a recurring problem over the past few years.

So now we're fair catching kickoffs around the 15 with at least 5 yards of space in front of the runner. Why not return it with a slight chance of breaking it?
