I amā¦havenāt seen a full-on rebuild in a while. Besides, theyāre about where theyād be with or without BB. Why not build towards the future in the process? As an organization, they donāt stay down for long.
My fear is when TJ comes back, we win 7 more games.
I donāt think itāll be seven wins but I could definitely say five and they end up at seven and 10 and out of the top 10 picks.
Didnāt have a rooting interest but kind of hoped the Steelers would have won 17-16 after the Dolphins coach became the latest example of an NFL coach losing his mind with analytics and going for it on 4th and 2 or 3 rather than kick a chip shot FG to go up 19-10.
5-12 or 4-13 at best. Where does that put the Steelers in the draft? Might as well try and get the #1 pick. They need lots of help
Thatās the problem of Tomlinā¦he really does coach at his best when his back is against the wall. Which is why heās ānever had a losing season.ā This accomplishment is little more than the epitome of mediocrity.
Pickettās ceiling is probably Kirk Cousins in my opinion. That will be ok, IF they fix the OL and develop a solid run game with Najee. They have terrific skill players, but the OL and OC will determine how far they go with Pickettt. Canada needs to go after this season and they need to get someone to develop Pickett and improve the run game. Canadaās lateral passing game and jet sweeps drive me nuts. The front 7 on the defense need to be retooled also. Heyward is fantastic, but thereās only so long his body will allow him to play at a high level. He gets no help on the DL. The LBs without Watt are average at best. I do think they have improved some since Watt got hurt which is a credit to Flores.
