Better than "thunder and wind" you might as well name them "Team Ram Rod" then. I think bison is great compare to all that other crap
i thought they already picked thunder but i was wrong apparently...which i say good for them. most of those sound like wnba names. but the nba generally has the worst mascots of the big 3 sports. so whatever. i would go with marshals or bison.
...since many of the most notorious outlaws in history have come from Oklahoma, and some of their main hideouts were in the Cookson Hills, sometimes called "Robbers Roost." Cherokee Bill, Henry Starr, The Barkers, Pretty Boy Floyd, are all Oklahomans at some point in their careers.
They're going to go with Thunder. It's just too easy to market..."thunder dunks, thunder sticks, "Bring the thunder"...Also, out of the six remaining names it's the best one.
it's a league perception thing. similar to why washington changed their name from bullets to wizards. although i do like outlaws. or marshalls.

the one's I think of that don't have an S at the end are still plural. I'm sure there are some though
