In terms of all hands on deck, what is the status of all our scholarship OL? This is the list of OL.
OT - Jimmy Christ - status?
C - Nick Dawkins - out
OG - JB Nelson - is he out?
OT - Ibrahim Traore - has he even played?
OG - Landon Tengwall - out
OG - Hunter Nourzad - now starter and was injured
OT - Drew Shelton - starter now?
C- Juice Scruggs - starter okay - knock on wood?
OG - Vega Ioane - starter or play?
OT/OG - Bryce Effner - starter/rotate as backkup
OT - Malek McNeil - has he ever played?
OT - Olu Fashanu - out?
OG - Sal Wormley - playing but injured?
OT - Golden Israel-Achumba - has he ever played?
OT - Caedan Wallace - out?
I think that is all the 15 scholarship OL, including FR and also experienced players who have not been playing. Injuries are limiting 7 of them - out or not really 100%. to be elite, I think you need 10-12 of these guys to be able to step up with little drop off. since our guys leave early for NFL, we are not going to have a team full of OL 24-25 years old (i.e. like Illinois), so that means our young recruits (4*/5*) must be able to perform as FR/Soph against older less talented teams if we are going to survive injury situations like this.
