At the risk of letting others in on the secret, I've parked in 22 for almost every game since the parking change a few years ago and I'm amazed at how quickly I get in and out. Others often don't believe me when I tell them I had less than a 5 minute wait getting out. If they don't manage it well, there are a lot of potential choke points that could cause trouble, though. I noticed it did take a little longer in and out last season than '19. I think the parking czars figured that out and they are routing more people through Toftrees and Fox Hollow now than originally planned. I often think about how nice it would be to have a temporary on/off ramp just for game days to/from 99 and Fox Hollow, right by the electrical substation.
The thing I don't like about 22 is that most parking is on a rather difficult slope if you want to set up tables and grills to tailgate. I have to pack 2x4's to level up my gear.
Something else about the West parking lots (I come from the East) is that there are a lot of places to meet somebody before and after the game to drop one car off. Also, if you don't tailgate after the game and you hustle to get out, there are several chain restaurants in close proximity to the 99 exit and S Atherton where you can get a table quickly after the game.
BigUglies, I think that is an assigned lot and opens the same time as others. They do use the grass area around the administration buildings next to 23 when 22 fills up. Another big secret, I've parked in the overflow area for two whiteouts and had literally no wait after the game. I got in my car and drove right out without stopping until I got to the red light at the 99 exit. I couldn't believe it. The challenge there is that you need to time it and arrive late. If you're lucky, you might even get a paved lot there.
