You are what you are at that age. I'm not saying don't chase your dreams. But maybe chase a different dream. He's got all the money he could ever need.

That will go over well. Orgeron in Vegas. I hate to say it but this might end like Elvis. He needs to stay away from all that.

Could be that he just misses coaching and wants to do it in a low stress environment. Same reason Bob Stoops is coaching an XFL team.

That being said, I’ve been saying for a while that I think UNLV could be an interesting future target for Big 12 or Pac-12 expansion. They play in the Death Star in a decent size market and Las Vegas is increasingly becoming a sports destination. You’d also have no shortage of cash-flush casinos and gambling sites for NIL (which Nevada allows).

100% agree with that. Pac-12 needs to move their HQ to Vegas and plant a flag there.

If he wants to work, and they want to hire, what difference is it to anyone other than him. The closer I get to that age the less I give a **** about some one telling me how to run my biz

I hope it happens. College football gets less interesting by the day. Coach O is one of the few remaining characters. I actively cheer for his brand of chaos.
