I don’t know how many states this is legal in, so it may not apply, but in my state I’ve been getting nonstop commercials saying “Who you vote for is secret, but whether you vote is public based on state law. Your friends and neighbors can see if you voted, so go vote.” Funded by a Democratic PAC. Features cartoon images of your neighbors snooping on you.

I am pretty politically neutral. I haven’t liked the presidential candidates recently and have written in someone two of the last three times, including this time. But these commercials frankly made me want to go vote Republican. Felt incredibly intrusive and overall just put a terrible taste in my mouth about anyone who’d run them. Have people seen these in other states?

What state?
I think NC is one of them. I am not really sure. I just heard someone on the news being interviewed and they said if you want to stop getting text message go vote early.

The democrats, big tech, MSM, CIA, FBI, NSA, DHS plus the Chinese are always watching you. Some of those names are redundant. Project Mockingbird says obey

I’ve never done a write in before, but have almost come to the conclusion that is what I am doing this go round for the Presidential / VP ticket.

I’m in NC. I voted early. I’m still getting texts but I only voted a few days ago

If that’s true then it’s just informative, correct? Are they saying they are the reason for the watching or doing the watching?

Yeah- a large part of their game plan is just trashing Donald Trump and making anyone that isn’t crazy for Kamala out to be a terrible person. I’m not at all surprised.

Makes you wonder how anyone with common sense can’t see right through that.
Yeah I hate it when they point out that Trump praises and quotes Hitler and forces the MAGAs to clutch pearls because of the audacity of quoting their guy.

I have received at least 3 mailers saying the exact same thing from PACs supporting the GOP in Georgia.

Looks like both parties are doing it.

I always love this one. People are freaking out about being watched and monitored, but they still have that cell phone. For the record, I have a cell phone.

When you vote, you show ID (in Miss), and they write you down.
No secret. Unless you take a ballot, and don't vote.
And so????

I voted Thursday absentee because I'm going to be out of town next week. My first time voting absentee. I give the lady my ID and she looks me up on the computer. She then starts filling out my envelope to put my ballot in and seal it up. I'm watching her and noticed she listed me by my middle name and last name, not my first name. I tell her that she has my name wrong and get a big huff. She got a new envelope and fills it out correctly and gives me my ballot. I vote and put my ballot in the envelope and sign across the flap as instructed. She tells me to drop it in the box and I do. I then ask " was I not supposed to sign a log or something "? I get another huff and she pulls a ledger from under the counter and slides it across to me. I assume that by listing my name incorrectly it would have voided my vote and by not signing the voting log also would have voided my vote. I'm not a conspiracy guy but I probably look like a typical Trump voter and she certainly looked like a typical democrat. It certainly made me wonder if it was intentional rather than incompetence?

I thought about doing a write in, but then realized it is the equivalent of not voting, so decided to pick between 2 of the options even though I didn’t care at either, so I voted for the candidate that agrees with me on a couple issues that are important to me.

I voted also, I did not sign across the flap, not sure I heard that part. Anyway, the envelope was opened, and they re- did the envelope.

Not voting for either is a vote of no confidence. Thats where I’m at. Only reason I’m going to vote is to vote on the people running for the school board.

Do you think when he gets re elected he will round up his Jewish grand kids and put them in a concentration camp ?? I bet if Anderson Cooper told you he said he would you would believe him. Or Don Lemon ?

I don't know his name but the chairman of the GOP is the one who said it. I don't know which state. As far as I know he might have been BS to get people out to vote.

This may not be a cure but it could slow your descent into TDS induced madness:

1. Thoroughly rinse that scratchy sand out of your obviously inflamed v*gina and then gently pat it dry.
2. Wrap up in your favorite blanky.
3. Insert thumb or favorite binkie in your mouth.
4. Take a 4 year nap.

Do what I do (if your schedule allows). On the day of the general election, wait until about 2:30 pm before heading to your polling place. Walk right in with little or no wait. Present your voter ID (for fun I always present my conceal carry license). Sign the “voter roll.” Get your ballot. Mark your ballot. Scan your ballot. Display your “I made freedom count; I voted” sticker. No asshattery. No shenanigans. No bullish!+.

It’s called she hates her job. I had to vote early in 2022 and ran into same issue. They were clearly republicans. Not a great job. The woman actually told me that they often get harassed by Trump supports back then for election stealing. she said we are in a red county, how could I do that? Ha

I write in Hulk Hogan's nutsack on occasion. I just once want to see the election workers face.
Do your election workers look at who each person votes for?
Mine look up names and then hand people the voting papers...and that's it. The voter fills in some bubbles and pushed the sheet into a machine. Nobody knows who someone voted for.

I'm talking about the workers who record the write in ballots. I'm assuming somebody's job is to record that info, maybe they dont.

After the last several election cycles, I have decided I have to want FOR a candidate to do so. Voting for the lessor of two evils is still voting for evil.
