Article says:
  • The Silverado EV shares no parts with the regular Silverado, and Chevy swears any resemblance to the Avalanche is coincidental.
  • Sure looks like an Avalanche to me...

My gosh that’s hideous. Just get rid of the Avalanche slope behind the cab and it would look much better.

My company uses Silverado’s for Company Vehicles. My Fleet guy has been looking at Dodges, Fords and Tundras. I may have to click a different box on the order form summer 2023 if the Flurona don’t get me by then.

Chevy is kind of losing its way. Toyota just overtook them as the top seller in the US market. Their CEO wants to go all electric in 10 years. Count me out

There’s still a need for high horsepower diesel trucks. I know the electric technology is getting better but high horsepower output electric just doesn’t seem economical right now

It's not just the diesel, it's the chassis. I had to upgrade to a 3/4 ton because of payload not power. I wanted the hybrid F150 with built in generator to pull my travel trailer. Sucker only has 1350 lbs of payload. 950 lbs of tongue weight, plus gear in the bed, and a family of 4 in the truck, I need at least 2000 lbs of payload to handle it all safely.

Good luck finding anything close to that in a crew cab these days. They out these 400+ HP engines in trucks that can't safely carry 4 SPSers around.

Even Honda got rid of the back slope on the Ridgeline. GM just can't help themselves.

We can all agree its ugly. Now lets ask maybe the simplest question: why are they using leftover spare tire rims?
