OT: Any Bridge players on this board? I ask because...

Yeah I play in a local church group. Eight Sat nights Sept - June. Conflicts with some Sat night CFB

There are 16 couples….4 rotating couples each at four different rotating residences, so you and your partner host twice each season.
I learned how to play in my frat at KU as a freshman. Played with a few seniors and our Housemother. Wasn’t good at bridge or drinking with them. But I learned.
Still not very good but I enjoy it and I have a very good and forgiving partner. We finished 3rd of 16 couples two years ago and won it this past year. As I said, I have a VERY good partner.
Funny, the other 15 couples are all age 70 and up a couple of the couples are in their 90’s. All have been married forever…..some you wonder how. But most are sharp as a tack!
