Dell's.....Haven’t had those before. We had tacos for cinco de mayo
If y'all wouldn't cut all the trees down to plant cotton you might have some wildlife. ****Luckily I think we won’t have any in NW Mississippi. Different brood.
Worked on a house yesterday in East Jackson and saw my first one. Then last night heard some at my place in Clinton. That's odd. We're not supposed to have them here. We're supposed to get the 2028 brood though.

You can get isolated pockets outside those counties. I would say anything contiguous to the shaded counties could easily have some. That's odd. We're not supposed to have them here. We're supposed to get the 2028 brood though.

Certainly makes sense. I'm wondering with sitings in Clinton and southern Madison County if this might be a sign their range is growing. You can get isolated pockets outside those counties. I would say anything contiguous to the shaded counties could easily have some.
Ive heard them 24/7 for the last 20 years
LOL I swear I went outside this morning to listen and asked myself "now just how the hell am I going to know when they start ? "Ive heard them 24/7 for the last 20 years
Yes. They just came out and the noise level is quite high. I also saw some flying around today.
I hear people are switching to cicadas now that crawfish are sky high
That’s just nasty.
Just saw my first yesterday in Nashville, but there are shells all over the place. Just starting to hear them as well.Anybody got Cicadas yet ?
Tree Huggers would love you.........They love alternatives to real meat..........
