AC/DC on their U.S. stadium tour? I would love to go, but health reasons won't let me. I keep getting bombarded with online ads showing Angus Young and his iconic Gibson Ebony SG. Brian Johnson used to say quite often that Angus's lead solos had the Devil in his finger tips....LOL!!...probably true. I guess the closest venue would be in Nashville, then maybe Dallas or Hotlanta. Other than Angus's brother, Malcom, I think the band has remained for the most part, in tact.

Is that the full tour or is this just the first announced? I want to go, but Monday night in Arlington, and Tuesday night in Nashville isn’t going happen for me.

Sorry for those that like them, but I can't stand AC/DC. I would listen to that bro country crap before I listen to them.

If that Nashville show were on a Saturday, I’d look into it more closely. Being that it’s on a weekday, I likely have other obligations.

I’ll be in Nashville. This is probably it for them. Losing Malcom Young was devastating to the band in itself. Apparently Phil Rudd won’t be on drums, Malcom is gone from Rhythm guitar, Cliff Williams is no longer on Bass. It’s basically Angus and Brian Johnson now. And Brian Johnson is struggling a lil more with vocals.

It won’t be a late 80’s or 90’s show… but I wanna see their probable last tour.

They were my first rock show back in '88 or '89 when they rolled through Jackson. I remember being down on the floor and pushing through the crowd to make it up to the front row, then fighting for my life against a sea of humanity. The bodies were so thick that when the music started I could lift my feet off the ground and not touch the floor.

Now? I don't know. I haven't really kept up with them since the early 90s and I think the only original players left from when they first hit big are Angus and the bass player (unless they let Phil Rudd rejoin the band).

Then again, it's AC/DC. Might be fun!

I have a problem going to see geriatric Rock Stars. I saw Meatloaf when he couldn't sing anymore. I went to a Billy Joel concert 2 years ago. I saw Joe Walsh about 5 years ago. Now Billy could still sing, but he just sat there. Joe could still play.

My issue is more with the crowd, and I understand I was part of that, but they were so <17>n' OLD. They shuffle in with walkers and canes and most of the first three rows is actually handicap seating. I'm from a time where The Stones sang "what a drag it is getting old" and The Who " I hope I die before I get old". I'm still scarred from the 2014 R&RHOF ceremony when Cat Stevens went in with Kiss, E Street, Linda Ronstadt, Peter Gabriel and some dead folks. Cat had given up the hard life and long time ago and looked pretty good, but all the others just looked like dead men walking. It's just NOT Rock and Roll.

I never really liked them back in the day….but of course I did buy the Back in Black album, just like everyone else.

I have a problem going to see geriatric Rock Stars.

The experience can be a mixed bag.

I go to quite a few shows and some of them have older performers.

Last year, I saw Joan Jett at 65, Marshall Crenshaw at 70, and 85-year old Del McCoury (yeah, yeah, I know he’s bluegrass) kick butt.

A few years ago, I was impressed with Judy Collins’ voice but Stephen Stills had difficulty moving around on the stage.

I’ve got tickets to a couple shows this month with older performers. I’m looking forward to seeing them.

LOL. I feel this applies to me at times. I don’t use a walker or a cane but at shows where I know I’ll be standing for hours, I’ll wear appropriate footwear. I’ll also occasionally go for seats instead of GA Pit when offered.

2014 RRHOF was fantastic.
Kiss being inducted
Cat Stevens
Hall and Oats
Linda Ronstadt, with Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Glen Frey , Karrie underwood tribute ..
A lot of people would think me and you don’t preform as well as we once did, but we can still be fun to watch

Nope. I tried. I like the music, but all I can think of is a cough drop for that poor fellow.
If you hate his singing voice you should hear him talk. He’s a New Zealander who is presumably speaking English but his accent is unintelligible. That being said Brian Johnson > Bon Scott with the exception of any song requiring bag pipes. They’ve probably been the most consistent hard rock band over the last 50 years , you won’t find a power ballad of a pseudo pop tune anywhere.

It was fine to watch. I just remember thinking how sad it was that these folks that lived a hard R&R lifestyle were trying so hard to hold onto that youth and persona. I don't go around in a baseball uniform anymore.

I am going to Arlington and am really excited. Saw them in Jackson in 88 and loved it. Loudest concert I ever saw. They came thru Austin around 2008 and I didn't go and regretted it, so swore I wouldn't miss them again. This is probably the last tour. Sure all the songs sound the same but they are FREAKING AWESOME. I understand the sentiment of not wanting to see a band past their prime but hoping these guys are the exception. I do wish the original guys were there but oh well. Better than seeing them w Axl.

20 years ago, sure. Today, heck no. That's a band way past its prime. And sadly Malcolm Young is gone. Bruce is right, generally bands should retire by the time they're 70 years old.

Nobody's ever been impressed w/ her looks. If anybody ever had a face made for radio, it was her. Although she wasn't terrible looking young, she hasn't aged well AT ALL
