Making our way down to the beach next week. Just came across this place online. Has 4.5/5 rating on all the sites (Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor).

Curious if anyone here has tried it. If so, thoughts?

Yes. They also own rockerfellas down the road a lil. It's good. Tell Shane, said hey.

It's Texas brisket. Get a side of collards.
Also it's in North Myrtle.

Yep, I did notice that. Last year we ended up at Simply Southern since I thought it would be easy to satisfy the kiddos there. It was decent, but buffet BBQ is obviously not great BBQ. There is NO good BBQ in this area so I really want to scratch that itch while I'm down.

Funny timing on this thread. I have a Texas brisket smoking now. I put it on yesterday. It is in the wrapped stage now. Just a few more degrees to go.

I was lazy and did not use my weber smokey mountain. Came out great though. I have a temperature probe with 4 inputs to make sure the temp of the smoker and meats are correct. Connects to my phone to keep it simple.Just have to add wood chips fairly often.
