The narrative has shifted quite a bit. Their 2024 class is now ranked 65th. Where his biggest selling point was his ability to recruit b/c he's Deion, his recruiting is now being considered a liability:

All of this seemed quite inevitable, as the article below points out. As much as people loved the swagger he came in with and blew up CU's entire roster, everyone knew deep down that it wasn't the way to build a roster. And, ultimately, the final result was about the same as it would have been in the first place.
