If you could pick any band in any era and been a member during their prime, who would it be? Don't pick a band just because they made a ton of money. Pick one you really loved their music and would have loved to perform with every night.
Anybody but the Eagles. If you could pick any band in any era and been a member during their prime, who would it be? Don't pick a band just because they made a ton of money. Pick one you really loved their music and would have loved to perform with every night.
My mother worked as the girls P.E Coach at Robert E. Lee HS in Jacksonville, FL. The boys P.E. coach there was Leonard Skinner. One of the kids there was named Ronnie. He kept asking everybody to go see his brothers Johnnie's band.Lynyrd Skynyrd
I just moved to Pensacola because I was tired of not living that coastal life. I was born to be here. The Coral Reefers
I like the Eagles but I would probably be like Don Felder and want to punch Glen Frey in the face.Anybody but the Eagles.

I heard a guy that ran an arena speak one time. After his presentation he took questions. Someone asked who was the most difficult band /artist he had ever had to deal with. He didn't even hesitant when he said the Eagles. He said they were a nightmare. They all had to have a separate room backstage. The rooms had to be exactly the same size and be stocked and furnished exactly alike. If any of them got the idea of there was so much as one extra orange in one member's coffee table fruit basket it would start a big row. Those kinds of rumors about them have always been around, but to hear it from a guy in the business was pretty wild. It's amazing they could make the music they did with all that going on.I like the Eagles but I would probably be like Don Felder and want to punch Glen Frey in the face.
I like the way you think.
They could be like Van Halen and have it written in their contract that there be no brown M&Ms in the candy bowls backstage.I heard a guy that ran an arena speak one time. Crue was my first thought.Aside from the obvious, probably the Stones or Motley Crue. I'd die in a month but it'd be a fun month.

Not really, I'm old, but not THAT old. I grew up noticing music in the 70s. That's well after Miller. He died years before I was born. I came to like Big Band listening to MPR, as it was known then, in college in the 80s. MPR was mostly music in those days. Think about what you would have seen as a member of that band. The age of elegant night clubs where people dressed to the nines. The joyous aftermath of prohibition. The beginnings of people like Frank Sinatra. America during WWII. American bases all over during WWII. LONDON during WWII. What an experience it would have been.this response belongs in the "tell me you're old without telling me you're old" thread.
