Minus that....a little harsher than needed to be.
Not in the band but could you imagine being a member of the Memphis Mafia back in the day?Elvis would have probably been fun.
Was on a retreat with a guy who played on Joe Walsh's Life's Been Good album, and Walsh later invited him to several of their shows when they went on tour again. He said the almost exact same thing. He said he so disappointed, as he was expecting this brotherhood and they didn't even speak before going on stage.I heard a guy that ran an arena speak one time. After his presentation he took questions. Someone asked who was the most difficult band /artist he had ever had to deal with. He didn't even hesitant when he said the Eagles. He said they were a nightmare. They all had to have a separate room backstage. The rooms had to be exactly the same size and be stocked and furnished exactly alike. If any of them got the idea of there was so much as one extra orange in one member's coffee table fruit basket it would start a big row. Those kinds of rumors about them have always been around, but to hear it from a guy in the business was pretty wild. It's amazing they could make the music they did with all that going on.
If you could pick any band in any era and been a member during their prime, who would it be? Don't pick a band just because they made a ton of money. Pick one you really loved their music and would have loved to perform with every night.
Bon Jovi, would have had a ton of fun, some of the most beautiful girls in the world and most likely would not have overdosed. If you could pick any band in any era and been a member during their prime, who would it be?
