I'm not invested in the ins-and-outs of their relationship, mostly because I don't care about it.
But, I'm not sure why she's getting hate for shutting down questions about their relationship. It's not anyone's business how they met, or what her favorite position is, or whether she has to do anything fancy to get that 73 year old trouser snake to dance.

I think it’s more that she’s controlling his interviews with the media. If the question is inappropriate, he can shut it down.
You may be joking, so if so, my bad for responding.
But if serious, it's not that one time she shut down an interview question. That's only a small sampling of their toxic relationship, apparently, and (being somewhat experienced myself) it's a really bad deal for him. The CBS crew said she interrupted the interview many times, they just chose to show one as an example of how the whole thing went. You can read about other episodes besides this interview of her controlling him. She's even being CC'd on all his emails. It's not normal and it's only going to end in pain and will cost him a shitton of money. I can 100% guarantee it.
As his friends are gently trying to tell him, he needs to get out of that situation quickly. But he can't hear them through the haze of delicious (and frequent) sex so he probably won't, the poor bastard. He just better hope she doesn't 'forget' to take her pill one month.

Let's not kid ourselves. We all know that's an escort. Regardless of what they call it, he's paying for that dearly.
Looks like he double crossed her. After claiming she didn't marry him for his money, and even suing a magazine that said she did, when she got nothing in the will, she sued claiming he promised her 1/2 of everything he owned. Looks like she ultimately lost that case. Maybe that's why she killed herself.
??? If he is getting frequent sex, that is probably exactly how he wants to be spending his money while he is in his 70's. Hell, that's a much better deal than a lot of guys in their 30's and 40's get who are spending all their money on a wife. If he has kids, they are probably pissed that he is spending their potential inheritance on sex, but it's his money. I just question whether he is really getting a fair bargain. The way she's controlling him, maybe he's not even getting much sex.
