Yes they are. I wouldn't call myself a superfan at this point but I used to be I think. A buddy of mine was their manager when back in 06-08' when I lived in Austin and we used to hang out a bit. I have seen a lot of their shows over the years (dozens), but it's been 5-6 years and it's much harder now that I don't live in TX.
So we are planning a big RV trip down to Texas for a few weeks from Mid-June and getting back around the 4th of July. When I planned the trip a few months or so ago, the BOH tour schedule looked like they were playing in the MS/AL area for Cathead and some other stuff in early June and then had dates in TX in July. So I figured I might be able to catch them in Houston or Austin...
Well now, in a big kick in my nuts, they are coming to my home turf on June 24th headlining the Sawtooth Valley Gathering music festival. A very small festival a few hours from my house in one of the most beautiful backdrops for a music festival you could imagine. We would have been able to set the RV up right behind the stage, walk 300' to the venue, and camp for 4 days... Hiking and fishing in the mornings and jamming at night. 17 me, that sucks.

Just a really nice show. I don’t do this kind of thing often anymore, but for me this one was almost perfect.
Quality music and a well-run show. Good crowd, great vibe. Not a lot of nonsense going on.
Great first show for the kids.
