I'm sensing mainstream radio BSIt's been a good show sensing some Texas and new outlaw sound influence
Sturgill, Tyler Childers, Brent Cobb, Ryan Bingham and many others disagreeCountry died with Waylon. It’s all pop now.
It's out there if you look for it....hard to find on the radio or actually in Nashville but it's alive and well. Cody Jinks, Cody Johnson, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, William Clark Greene, Stoney LaRue, Turnpike Troubadours, Flatland Calvary, etc.Country died with Waylon. It’s all pop now.
Cody Johnson won big and performed and after years he's just now getting recognized by Nashville.I'm sensing mainstream radio BS
His off radio stuff is better thoughCody Johnson won big and performed and after years he's just now getting recognized by Nashville.
Jamie Johnson performed and Nashville has turned their backs on him since they veered towards pop and pretty people.
Brooks and Dunn won to the dismay of country pop duos.
Red Clay Strays were nominated along with others who don't get noticed.
Didn't say it changed Nashville back to the 70s but it did move in the right direction for once.
I know there are. But I don’t get the attraction to Sturgill and Tyler. As someone mentioned, Jamey is great. One good one that never gets mentioned is Whitey Morgan. I’m late to the game, but just discovered Blackberry Smoke a couple years ago. More Southern Rock but more Country that 99% of the acts out there and a great live band.Sturgill, Tyler Childers, Brent Cobb, Ryan Bingham and many others disagree

Oliver Anthony , too. It's out there if you look for it....hard to find on the radio or actually in Nashville but it's alive and well. Cody Jinks, Cody Johnson, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers Band, William Clark Greene, Stoney LaRue, Turnpike Troubadours, Flatland Calvary, etc.
I had a Shania poster back then. Would say “Honey, I’m home” every day.Not bad at all, but prime Shania and Faith will always be hard to top
