He has redefined the two words "guts" and "clutch" during Villanova's run through the entire Big East tournament. I simply love his game --- especially in the final few minutes. This is no slap at what Penn State BB accomplished this week, it's just that being "old school" I never tire watching a kid like Gillespie play the game.

This Villanova team can make a very deep run. They have the feel of some other Nova teams that won it all. Can’t ever count them out with Gillespie and Jay Wright.
We attended the Big East Tournament... was a Christmas / birthday gift from my wife (aka PSUNovaLuvr... she is Penn State class of '80) and my daughter & son-in-law (PSU class of '14)! Great 3 days in NYC (and I don't say that often). I am a lucky man!
As to Villanova and Gillespie, this is one of my favorite teams for their determination and grit. Not as deep or talented as recent teams, but with CG as their leader they may go further than some expect. We'll see,

Congrats to you and the family. I agree that this is not a vintage Nova squad, but they do grind it out when they have to do that to win. It will be an interesting tourney.
