2005- $104,500
2bd(claimed 3) 1ba, 951sqft bungalow on .16 acre.

Sold it 7 years later for the exact same price because of the market, despite all we had put into updates. But got a great price on our current house for the same reason.

This doesn't seem possible. Was there a cartel in the neighborhood??

2011 - 180k, 2000sf, 0.45 acre. Sold it for a modest gain in 2019.

Same house sold in 2 days for $340k..2 years ago….with no changes whatsoever from when I sold it 3 years prior. Craziness.

$101,000 for a 1,484 sq. ft., 3-2, in Laurelwood in Flowood back in '99.
$95,000 for +/-1650 square feet in Laurelwood in Flowood in July of 95 - sold it 2 years later for $105,000 in July 97. Laurelwood was a great neighborhood for first time homeowners during that time frame.

$189,900 in Starkville in 2018. 3 bed 2 bath. 1970 build but was flipped and modernized by the person we bought from. Sold it for almost $300K this past spring.

The Starkville real estate market is a buyer’s enemy but a seller’s BFF for life. Lol.

3/2 1800 sq ft

The most amazing thing is apartment rent now. I have some co-workers who are paying $1900/month for a 2 BR/2 BA in Flowood.
I have three rentals located in relatively safe parts of the metro. Smallest is 1200 SF 2/1. Others are 1350 SF 2/1s. I get $1475 on the small one and $1800 each for the other 2.
