$15,000 back in 1977. 3 br, 1 1/2 bath.
$101,000 for a 1,484 sq. ft., 3-2, in Laurelwood in Flowood back in '99.
$80k. Duplex. Medium sized city in another state not Mississippi. Early 90s.
2010: $60k (after tax credit), 3/2 1850 sf on 1 acre. Foreclosure steal.

The most amazing thing is apartment rent now. I have some co-workers who are paying $1900/month for a 2 BR/2 BA in Flowood.

2/1, 1250 sq.ft. built in 1961, $25,000 in 1992. Did a complete remodel when bought and another partial remodel in 2000, added deck then. Sold in 2014 for $70,000.

$95,000 for +/-1650 square feet in Laurelwood in Flowood in July of 95 - sold it 2 years later for $105,000 in July 97. Laurelwood was a great neighborhood for first time homeowners during that time frame.

$189,900 in Starkville in 2018. 3 bed 2 bath. 1970 build but was flipped and modernized by the person we bought from. Sold it for almost $300K this past spring.

I have three rentals located in relatively safe parts of the metro. Smallest is 1200 SF 2/1. Others are 1350 SF 2/1s. I get $1475 on the small one and $1800 each for the other 2.
2011. $274,000. 2800 sq ft. Tupelo. Similar houses in the neighborhood list for about $500,000 now.
