At 5’4” I guess I was lucky. Never had problems dating. Dated a couple crazy ones, several taller than me but most of my old girlfriends are now friends with my wife and I. I started dating my at 20, we’ve been married 23 years and together 28 years.

Damn straight. I got the nickname peewee in forestry school. Didn't have 1 professor that called me by my real name. Most of my friends and their kids call me peewee or Mr. Peewee
I could see where being short could be tough on a kid but my dad raised me old school. I was thankful for that once I got old enough to go to bars. If you grow up as a Warren County redneck and your 5'4" you better be tough or you'd have your *** whipped every weekend. Seemed like every week some guys from Jxn/Clinton would show up to PJ's looking for a fight. They always turned their attention to the short fellow. More times than not that didn't end up in their favor.
