1. That person looking at Their phone in the gym slowing every one's workout down. Does a three-rep set then looks at phone for 10 minutes and repeat.
2. That guy who picks up the dumbbells and stand right in front of the dumbbell rack while working out blocking the rack to everyone else.
3. The large group of teenagers that work out together, all talking and not working out but blocking work out stations.

4. Slow left lane drivers who slow up the trip home from work.
5. People who block grocery stores isle with cart looking for the item not paying any attention to who is trying to get by.
6. People parking in handicap parking who are not handicap but a parent or other family member is, that has the handicap tag, and the parents not with them. ******* lazy *** *******.
7. That person driving 20 miles per hour on the on ramp to the interstate where's cars are traveling 70 miles per hour.
8. That person who sits at the light after it turns green because he is looking at his phone.
9. That person who did not serve in the military but is the first person to point out that someone else didn't serve like a politician.
10. That person who makes a joke about a branch of military but did not earn the right to make that joke because they did not serve.

rush hour on the Natchez Trace.

there shouldn’t be a rush hour on the Natchez trace. It’s supposed to be for recreational sightseeing
People who are too lazy to return their shopping cart to the cart return in the parking lot
Kinda petty considering they pay somebody too much money to round them up.

Who do you hate that everyone else loves (or doesn't care about) for no good reason?

For me it's Holly Rowe, she got Ron Franklin, the second best CFB play-by-play man ever, vanquished from the SEC. Those early 2000s SEC games called by him and Mike Gottfried (who I think was drunk most of the time) were the absolute zenith of CFB.

Don't pick someone like Portnoy, Pat McAfee, Tom Brady or Steven A. Smith, although they are loved, there are also hated by many. I'm meaning someone university loved like Lee Corso, but you hate him because you had Indiana as part of a four leg parlay in 1980 and he made a stupid call that cost you a grand.

Also I hate Pam Beesly, f'ing *****. I still patronize Chili's b/c they gave her a lifetime ban.
There are people here that don't know what irrational means.

Hard disagree. People who don’t return their carts to the proper locations in the parking lot are lazy ******** can’t be trusted with anything.

I love seeing how memories match up with reality. Here we go!
  • Up 5 with 3:15 to play at the media TO, but took a 7 point lead at the 3:00 minute mark on two Barry Stewart free throws. After that we were 0-3 from the floor and turned it over once. Some things never change.
  • Jarvis had two fouls in the first half, then picked up two more in a five second span early in the second half (17:48 and 17:43). Fouled out with 5:08 to play in regulation. Stewart fouled out in overtime but his were spread throughout the game.
  • It was actually 14 straight fouls which is crazy, We were called for the last foul in regulation, then an unreal 9-0 in overtime, and then the first four of the tournament final. That's wild.
** I am not a Cal fan either.
Thanks for correcting me about being up 7 15sec later than I thought, and that it was 14 instead of 13 straight fouls.** Pretty decent recollection considering the 3 or 4 half pints of crown I snuck in that night.

Now I’ll have to go find the game Jarvis had that sequence. Am I making that up totally? I swear that happened in a game that season.

14 straight foul calls has to be a record against one team, though, right?

LOL your memory is VERY good. I've seen us do that same thing so many times that they all run together.

No clue on the late foul out for JV. I first thought you meant the SECT game in Nashville but I don't think he fouled out of that one.

14 in a row is crazy, even given the fact that some of them in OT were us sending them to the line trying to catch up. You think Stans was in their ear about that when the first four whistles in Nashville went their way???

His senior year in addition to UK he only fouled out against Alabama. Three fouls over the last 7 minutes, the last one with 6 seconds left.
Junior year he fouled out of two games, both of which went double OT. LSU in the Hump he fouled out in the first OT. Same thing at Bama - fouled out in the first OT.
Sophomore year he fouled out in OT of the Shan Foster game at Vandy.
Here is it - as South Carolina his sophomore year. One foul in the first half. Second foul with 10:50 left in the game. Then the last three happened at 5:37, 1:09, and 0:06. I was at this game but don't remember that. All I remember is that Ben Hansbrough went to the line with one second left and knocked down THREE free throws to get the game into OT where we pulled it out.
He also fouled out against Clemson, South Alabama, and SE LA that year. The first two didn't have a bunch of late fouls and the SLU game doesn't have a play by play on ESPN but we won by 25.

Irrational:

Keanu Reeves. I can’t understand why people like him and his movies.

Joaquin Phoenix - I enjoyed his death in Gladiator way too much.

Rational:

People who can’t stop a phone conversation in a public restroom for the one minute it takes to piss. I dang near cause a hernia trying to fart as loudly as I can in the adjacent urinal.

Mine is Tim Tebow....He seems like a really good guy overall, but there is just something that makes me cringe every time I see him.
Maybe it’s because he’s weird. It’s weird that he travels overseas to perform circumcisions and was quoted as saying that’s what he wants to keep doing more than anything else in the world. Complete and total weirdo.

All new "pastel" colors on cars (gray, beige, blue, etc.) and the people that willingly buy them. Look like $50k-$100k+ Paas Easter eggs with wheels.
I get what you’re saying, but goddam, those pastel Ford Broncos remind me of a simpler time.

Interesting, do elaborate
Our girls doubles were favorites to win state after the first day of play. But our dumb coach read the schedule wrong so they were a few minutes late for the semis. Their coach refused to go ahead and play and just took the forfeit.

All my hate is rational, but let's share a few off the top of the head:

Sean Penn, Susan Surandon, and every insufferable Hollywood pedo/pervert that thinks I gave a damn about their opinions.

Hugh Freeze for being a fake Christian; believe what you don't but don't pretend to be the most pious sumbitch on the block while having a soul darker than the devil's taint.

The French.

People who lift/lower their trucks: just ******* stop, you look retarded.

People with super bright headlights.

Whoever ruined the History Channel.

Eagles fans; mostly the sports team but fans of the band need to get their house in order.

The State of Louisiana.

BYU. They're Mormons. Mormons are Muslims with a haircut.

Boy, you and I couldn’t hang out together. As a child of the 80’s Tesla was my band. I think that I have every Jimmy Buffett album either in vinyl or cd. Probably seen him in concert 20-25 times. Saw him three times in the span of about 10 days once.
Acoustic jam was great.

I was watching the Celtics doc on HBO and they showed a commercial with Bird that he did for a Ford Ranger. I realize he is 6’9” but it was still jarring to see how tall the truck was compared to him and the behemoths driving the road today.

Granted I’ve had very little experience with Mormons but I did have some business relationships with a Mormon and a Muslim. All three of us were at a trade show in Las Vegas at the same time and went out to dinner one night and eventually religion came up. A Methodist, a Mormon, and a Muslim spent several hours sitting in a restaurant discussing religion. It was very enlightening.

I hate anyone who enjoy tootsie rolls and candy corn because both are objectively disgusting. Anyone who disagrees with me is an uncultured moron with broken taste buds and can't be trusted.

I never gave my reason(s) for hating these people. Might not be for the reasons that you are thinking & therefore are deeming rational.
Yes, I know. That was my joke in that IMO it was totally rational to hate those folks you mentioned.

Of course why would you irrationally hate those particular people? To do that you would have to think they are correct and fair human beings but still dislike them for some irrational reason like their names are funny. But then with naming multiple people, you limit what the irrational reason could be because they would probably have to have something in common. I don't think all their names are funny, so?

John Calipari.
Mostly bc of the 2010 games against us. We were up 7 or so at the 4 min TV timeout late. Jarvis had 1 foul. He proceeded to foul out before the end of regulation. They tied it up and we lost in OT. Our leading scorer Ravern was even suspended.

Post game, a water bottle was rightfully thrown on the court and he acted like he was in Dresden circa 1945.

If I remember correctly, between the end of that game and the first 5 min of the SEC championship game that year, we were called for 13 straight fouls vs UK.

Chris Lemonis is getting close though…
Is that the famous John Wall following his free throw into the lane to either send it into overtime or win? That is the worst lane violation that wasn't called in the history of basketball.
