Looks like the vaunted 12th Man forgot there are two halves in a football game. Granted, the weather was lousy and the opponent was UMass, but I've just got to think the fact that A&M had managed just 10 points at the half with a 7 point lead in a game where they were favored by 33.5 points factored heavily in the decision of fans not to stick around. Overall, not a great look for a program that prides itself more than anyone on their fan support.

Some might say they are having way more of an impact than fans that showed up and supported them. The fact that people even consider it a possibility that Jimbo could get fired with that buyout is a tribute to their fans in a way. An empty stadium like that might be what it takes for change.

Yeah, this was supposed to be a "take out your frustrations" kind of game. An opportunity to put on a show in a meaningless game in an otherwise disastrous season. They were favored by 33.5. Only had a 7 point lead at halftime.

Not to mention, with Vandy's win over UF, A&M is now the worst team in the SEC this season. Let that sink in. From preseason top 10 to worst team in the conference.

One article I read said that Jimbo will be back next season, only because of the buyout, but that 2023 will have the feel of a Scott Frost/Nebraska situation. That's gotta be depressing. Bringing back a coach you know you're gonna fire at some point.

Wow. Nothing gets the attention of the AD like empty seats. Can't pay the light bill with that light crowd(no pun intended) much less the players and coaches. Another example of money doesn't solve everything.

A&M is the only SEC team to not score 30 points against an FBS opponent this year.

Jimbo has poisoned the fan base and the team in College Station. Maybe the worst negotiation of a coaches contract in history!

Hired by a "professional" AD to a 10-year $75M contract...that AD is now at LSU. Extended by another "professional" AD who came from Ole Miss to his current contract.

In aTm’s defense, and I’m not talking about the ironclad contract part…. Jumbo Fisher was a better hire than Carolina hiring Will Muschamp if we are comparing. Everyone (besides Ray Tanner and the BOT) knew Muschamp was likely going to flop. I’m surprised about Fisher at Texas though.

Tell me again…..which ACC coach was it that went to a better P5 conference and enjoyed the same success? I truly can’t name one. Cause there’s likely not one.
