I am not trying to talk **** on this thread or start anything. Just hate it for these guys fighting for our freedom and their families that they get disrespected by a bunch of Kansas hicks.<div>
</div><div>*Edit* and don't take the "Kansas Hicks" comment personally. I know some of y'all are from Kansas and that was in no way directed at y'all. Mississippi is full of 'em too. </div>

Just saying what everyone else is thinking...

I'll give everyone involved free chat for life. It would bring a tear of joy to my eye to see.<div>

I've always wondered what would happen if you put groups like that against a crowd with cowbells... that would be interesting to watch.

<div>They make me wonder how they think they're pointing to Jesus with all the hate they spew. Such twisted bastards.</div>
they use religion as a emotional pivot to get people to cross a line so they can sue them. The church is one family and the family is mainly lawyers. They push boundaries hoping people will push back and then they take them to court. They don't care anything about religion.

As much as I am a defender of people's right to free speech I have to admit that if I were on the jury of someone who mowed down this entire family with a rifle I could never convict. Sorry, but juror number 11 votes "not guilty".

I hope that my fellow Baptists in the GTR will find whatever motels they are using, locate their cars and park behind them.
Then, in a very loving way, pick them up and take them to breakfast, and otherwise keep them occupied for the entire day.

Or, whatever else it takes.
This is a weird cult, that isn't promoting Christianity of any flavor.
Just hatred. Losers. Gotta love them, though, in a very Baptist way.
Smother them with that love.

There's laws against smothering them with a pillow.

It's a business. They travel the country, set up websites telling you exactly when they'll be there, and using the most inflammatory statements all over the place, just to get someone to violate their rights for profit. Then they sue the military, the police force that was to protect them, and everyone that is around them for money. This is a sham, and it is a trap to get people sued. Every member of his family is an attorney. Phelps does not break the law. What he does is try to make you break the law by trying to punch your sensibilities about everything you hold dear, and then sue you and everyone municipality around him to the max.</p></td></tr></tbody></table><table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td height="10"></td></tr><tr><td class="content"></td></tr></tbody></table>

The Patriot Guard Riders have confirmed they were invited to attend the ceremony and will be in attendance should the protesters show up. The Patriot Guard was established in 2005 to protect the dignity of funerals from the Westboro Baptist Church picketers.

I have friends in the Patriot Guard Riders and have seen them at funerals before. I'm not a biker, but I can appreciate 100's of bikers with their American flags waving following a hearse as it rolls out of the funeral home parking lot. They will be all over the Westboro group.

You are correct. The Patriot Guard Riders are already showing up by the dozens in town. Several of them already standing in front of the funeral home. I would describe them as slightly less rough looking than say your Hells Angels, not guys I would want to pick a fight with by any means! There is also a Lowndes County Sheriff's van patrolling the area, must have drove by 20 times in the 30 minutes I was downtown. I drove around some hotels in town hoping to find the Westboro van but to no avail. I don't know where they are but can tell you where they are not. Here's hoping the fellas of the Patriot Gaurd do some damage today!

Just got back. I saw no Westlake person around but a good number of patriotic Americans. I heard one Kansas vehicle was impounded but have no idea if it's true or not.

the sad thing is a lot has been made of the westlake people when the real story is we lost a 21 year old who died for our freedom. He had a wife and small child. God bless them.
