Please don’t vote for Chris McDaniel
I won't as long as I don't get another mailer from Delbert. I think this is the 4th one this week.
I have yet to receive a single thing from either Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor to this point-and I’ve been voting Republican for at least 30 years. This tells me that I must be doing something right. One thing is for sure-I’ll never vote for Chris McDaniel. That’s a promise
Why? Seriously, I don't know anything about either candidate. Is Hoseman the Democrat?
You are a fan of a school in Mississippi, maybe even attended said school, and you don’t know who the sitting Lt. Governor is nor do you know a guy who has run for US Senate multiple times, including one very controversial race that made national news, and also was the most vocal opposition to changing the state flag?
Or his partner in crime Angela Burkes Hill, one of the worst state senators...about as backward as it gets.
Yeah, I'm guilty. I live in Millington, TN for the most part, but have a property in Lewisburg, MS too. I only knew that Tate Reeves was the Governor. Never pay any attention to who the Lt. Gov. is nor the other high offices. I don't even know who the Congressman is in District 1 is where my Lewisburg property is. I pay more attention to the national politics.
I can understand not knowing Delbert given where you live, I’m surprised McDaniel hasn’t shown up on your radar given that he’s popped up national news a couple of times.

I have contributed to other campaigns in the past (purely selfish reasons - to curry favor), so I may be on some type of donor list.

I am in 39042. I don't get anything. Maybe in your Zip Code he didn't perform very well in the last election and is trying to sure up vote there. It could be since he is in a position to see who votes in primaries and who don't and he only sending mailers to those folks who do. Who know what strategy they are using but they all are politicians no matter the party. Even an out sider once they throw their hat in, they become a politician and they hire consultants that is all they do is get people elected.
I am a member of NAIFA and on a National APC committed. It might be they don't want to send me any mailer looking at the members list. I don't know why that would matter but who knows.

The Lt Governor in Mississippi has more real power than the Governor does.
Because of what he tried to do to Thad Cochran's wife. That was DESPICABLE. That ALONE is more than enough reason.
McDaniels is a low life idiot. Having said that, I despise Hoseman. We had close to a billion dollars and each taxpayer should have gotten a check. No, he finds more money to blow on teachers. At some point someone needs to ask why teachers are the only ones who get raises in Mississippi. Wish there was another alternative
A billion dollars last year. 700 million over estimates this year. And trying to hire for jobs in state government is as bad as it has ever been. Philbert and Fat Tate can go to hell.
Young graduates don’t want to work for the state of MS. As a soon to be retirement eligible employee I can’t say I blame them.
People are having to do the jobs of 2 or 3 positions because so many go unfilled , no pay increases for years, while our 2 most powerful state “leaders” go on TV and brag about how they are reducing state government.
Y’all better enjoy what state services you got at this moment because when Tate and Philbert leave office there won’t be any dedicated workers left to provide those services.
