I have to say fool as well. $21,000 and they didn’t even get close to the stage! Did you see the pic in the article? They weren’t even in the lower level.

I would have just told my daughter that sometimes things go wrong. And then sued StubHub. However, the article isn’t clear about his original tickets. It sounds like he just got antsy and bought new tickets a few days before the show because his original ones weren’t delivered yet (because StubHub tix are delivered the day before).

The guy is a dolt regardless.

Fool, no doubt about it.

Have to agree. Don't get me wrong, I have a 6 year old daughter and an almost 2 year old daughter and they have me wrapped every which way around their little fingers, but sometimes you just gotta make grown-up decisions. It does sometimes pain me to tell my little girls "no" but I know it's my job to be the grown up and teach them that disappointment and not getting what you want is a part of life. If you don't say "no" at $21,000 for concert tickets, when WILL you say "no"?

But this does make me not feel so bad when I splurge and spoil them with ice cream or something of similar monetary value.

And I gotta ask, why in the world was he paying $7,000 a pop for her two friends to go to the concert? Where are their parents? Seems like they could have at least kicked in a few bucks.

So he got screwed twice? Nah, he's a fool. But there are people to whom $21K is like $1K to some of us. I'm personally glad my daughter is into rock. Generally much cheaper tickets.

The dad was irresponsible. Bad decision making on more than one level.

Katlyn was disappointed when she found out the tickets weren’t delivered, throwing a mini tantrum because of the fiasco.
“I went home slamming stuff, I was so angry, so disappointed because I was looking forward to this for nine months,” she told the outlet.

He just cratered to his kid on this.

Yeah, like I said above, if you won't say "no" to your kid over $21,000 concert tickets, what WILL you say "no" to?

If you got $21k to thrown around, you got cash to burn.
